The Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing and enhancing a portfolio of brands, ensuring their optimal performance through effective planning, execution, and collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.

Duties:

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers to support growth and market share.

Identify and secure new and emerging brands and oversee their successful market entry.

Drive and assist in compiling business plans, with a specific focus on new product opportunities and market expansion.

Ensure clear communication of commercial plans across relevant teams

Secure and manage supplier budgets while overseeing internal fund allocation

Support and guide the sales team with the tools and strategies required for successful execution.

Introduce and consolidate best practices and tools to enhance sales performance.

Conduct regular sales operation visits to identify opportunities and improve performance.

Discuss and propose brand positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies with internal stakeholders.

Monitor brand performance and adjust strategies to improve market share.

Drive financial performance through forecasting and budget management.

Prepare commercial proposals tailored to different channels and key clients

Monitor budgets and ensure cost control.

Oversee stock and supplier order planning to align with the market demands and projections.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar commercial or business development focused role.

Fluent in both Maltese and English (written and spoken) is a must.

Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.

Valid driving licence.
