HR Business Partner

In view of the increase in business activity together with the continued search of professionals and skilled tradespeople, we require a HR Business Partner to manage the daily human resources operations, handling the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance in all our locations positioned in Malta and Gozo.

Duties:

Manage end-to-end HR processes from recruitment, to offboarding.

Contribute towards the implementation of the people and culture elements of strategic HR focusing on employee experience, engagement, whilst nurturing a positive, value-driven workplace environment.

Consolidate the HR department’s structure, processes and compliance framework.

Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related matters.

Support performance management and employee development processes.

Draft and implement HR Polices and Practices to ensure legal compliance, consistent decision-making, and clear behavioural expectations.

Stay abreast with Government new and ongoing employment initiatives, grants and schemes.

Assist with payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee records.

Support disciplinary procedures and employee relations matters.

Maintain accurate HR documentation and HR reporting.

Assist with HR projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in, Human Resources or related field.

3 years of proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar semi-senior HR role.

Be extremely well versed with the Maltese Employment, OHS, and Immigration Laws.

Excellent communication skills in Maltese and English.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HR systems will be considered an advantage.
