Interior Designer (Commercial)

Undertake design projects from concept to completion

Define project requirements, visiting project sites and attend client meetings

Creating initial design sketches, colour themes, mood boards and ideas based on client design requests.

Creating 2D drawings and 3D models.

Research and decide on materials and product sourcing.

Draw up material and labour costs and project fees according to budget.

Hiring contractors and vendors to implement design ideas, such as builders, carpenters, decorators, M & E and HVAC teams etc.

Supervise work progress and report to client with progress and/or setbacks.

Ensuring project completion is within the agreed timeline.

Degree in Interior Design, architecture or relevant field would be considered an asset.

Proven working experience, preferably within the commercial and industrial sector, in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions).

Knowledge in projections, colour, lighting, materials, bespoke furniture and relative detailing.

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp or other design programs.

Substantial portfolio of previous works.

Creative talent, imagination and eye for design.

Communication, presentation and project management skills.
