Tiler and Plasterer

Reading construction drawings and/or sketches.

Prepare and clean surfaces before plastering to ensure proper adhesion.

Measure, mark, and cut and install tiles (floor/wall) and flagstones by gluing or cementing according to project plans.

Apply grouting and/or filler to seal and finish product.

Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections prior to plastering.

Install and fix corner beads, wire mesh, or laths where required.

Use trowels, floats, straightedges, and other tools with precision.

Apply decorative finishes, mouldings, or protective coatings as specified.

Make and mix products such as gypsum plaster, mortar, filler, glues etc.

Any other job-related duties that may be assigned by the Head of Projects from time to time.

Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Work at heights using scaffolding, ladders, or mobile platforms as required.

Can read and interpret construction plans, drawings, sketches and technical specifications.

Physical fit to handle heavy materials and perform tasks like bending and kneeling.

Comply with all site safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Have strong communication skills and be fluent in English and preferably in Maltese.
