Draughtsperson
Based in Malta, de Valier Co Ltd seeks to recruit a Draughtsperson on a full-time basis. The prospective candidate will play a crucial role in producing detailed and accurate architectural drawings using AutoCAD, collaborating with architects and team members, and ensuring adherence to company standards.
This role shall report directly to the Senior Site Architect.
Produce architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD.
Verify dimensions, scale, space relationships, and material quantities.
Collaborate with architects and other team members to translate conceptual designs into detailed and accurate technical drawings.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawing sets and revisions.
Ensure adherence to company standards and best practices in drafting and detailing.
Effectively communicate with internal teams to understand project requirements and deadlines.
Participate in Project meetings and conference calls as required.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the company.
A recognized architectural degree or a related qualification in this field.
A proven track record working as a draughtsperson with experience working on a variety of architectural projects including commercial and/or restoration projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modelling software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
Possess strong, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
Undertake drawings to the quality standards specified by the employer.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Be able to understand and make use of measuring instruments and carry out routine checks.
In possession of a valid driving license.
